EVENT: Pinsuti Chamber Choir Concert
Time: 7.30pm
Venue: St Mary‘s Parish Church, Burley in Wharfedale
Description: The choir will be performing Durufle‘s Requiem (with organ and cello obligato), and Parry‘s Songs of Farewell.
Profits to be divided between The Burley-Téréli Friendship Trust and St Mary‘s organ restoration fund.
Cost: £12 under 18s free

EVENT: Ladies Please Choir Sings for Téréli
Time:7.30pm
Venue:Burley Methodist Church, Main Street
Description: We are delighted the Ladies Please Choir, based in Menston, will return for the nineth time. The choir will sing a wide ranging selection of songs guaranteed to please all tastes. The choir, directed by Dorrie Clarke, will be accompanied on the piano by Mike Nicholas. All proceeds will go to the Burley-Téréli Friendship Trust which aims to create awareness, promote education and help those in need in the Dogon region of Mali in West Africa. The link between Burley and Téréli, in Mali came out of the On-the-Line Project in 2000.
